The average price of condominiums, like this one on 61st Street in Woodside, jumped nearly 62 percent in the first quarter of this year, but the number of sales fell 64 percent, according to the latest Prudential Douglas Elliman-Miller Samuels report. The authors said, however, that the high number of sales last year appears to be an anomaly.
