NYPD seeks suspect in Forest Hills convent burglary

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the man who broke into Our Lady Queen of Martyrs convent on 72nd Road in Forest Hills on Tuesday.

Police at the 112th Precinct said the man broke a basement window to get inside. He fled without taking anything. He is described as a white or Hispanic male, 20 to 22 years old, 5 feet, 4 inches tall with a thin build, wearing a dark brown jacket.

Anyone with information on the indicdent is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1 (800)-577-TIPS (8477). The public also can submit tips by logging onto nypdcrimestoppers.com by texting 274637 (CRIMES), then entering TIP577. All tips are strictly confidential.
