It's about time! Mr. Galante's story is like swiss cheese - full of holes. Now he's down to 70 to 80 hours as opposed to "over 100 hours" a week. Regardless of Mr. Galante's time put in to his job, he is contracted at an annual salary and the fact that he sees fit to work those kind of hours (he insists it is necessary) is irrelevant. For instance, people who are in managerial positions or heads of corporations, more often than not, are at a fixed salary and do not receive compensation for "over-time" hours. He is, clearly, lying and only now, since it's been brought to the forefront, is he trying to cover his path. Non-profits are rife with unchecked spending, and nothing more than slush funds for the people who run them. I hope Van Bramer will rise to the occasion and do the right thing.
