The Metropolitan Transportation Authority has announced that all city subway lines will operate on their regular weekday schedules on Good Friday, March 29.
The MTA’s regular Sunday schedule will be in effect on Easter Sunday, March 31.
NYC Transit bus schedules will be affected only on Staten Island on Good Friday.
The Long Island Rail Road will operate on its regular weekday schedule on March 29, but will do so with an additional eight early afternoon trains leaving from Penn Station between 2:08 p.m. and 3:48 p.m. to accommodate customers leaving New York City early in observance of Good Friday.
All temporary road work and roadway closures scheduled at the authority’s tunnels and bridges will be lifted by 1 p.m. on Good Friday in anticipation of an early rush hour period.
