Crowley said Comrie, who was a popular three-term Councilman from Southeast Queens before being named deputy borough president, has been a leader on education, senior citizen issues and job creation.

REALLY Crowley, expound on the education issue (name just one instance), exactly how has he been a leaders with seniors (examples) and what thousands of jobs across the state (exactly how many, what companies and how did he do this). He certainly did not create any jobs in Jamaica, which has a high unemployment rate and he was councilman there for 12 years.

How about some facts to back up that statement, one instance, just one piece of fact to support that statement. It amazes me, that we have this Fox News mentality, we can just say anything and it makes it automatically true without backing up the statement with facts. I mean why let something like facts get in the way, they just cause issues and problems, who needs them.

Comrie states “It simply means that people are ready for a change,” Comrie said in the statement. “The 14th District will not be sidelined waiting for a leader to do the right thing.”

Yes, we are ready for a change but not the same game of musical chairs from the same old local politicians, that is exactly how things do not get done or improve in a community, when the same leaders get in office over and over and are mediocre at best.

YES, we are ready for a change but not the same old boy's club that has been dominating Jamaica for years. Same names, same faces, sometimes in different positions. Having Comrie in the Senate seat is a far cry from change, just more of the same old crap. Then one wonders why Jamaica just keeps going down hill.
