The winners of the contest were picked by Assistant Principal Ms. Trujillo and the Student Council of P.S. 99 in Kew Gardens
Each student drew a winner prize as well as Ms. Trujillo.

3. Who is the borough of Queens named after? Queen Consort Catherine of Braganza, wife of British King Charles II, though many say the borough was named for queens in general, not a specific one. Catherine held the throne at the time.
