A St. Albans couple have been indicted on charges that they kidnapped two young women, beat them, forced them to take drugs and made them perform sex acts for money, according the Queens District Attorney’s Office.
Hikeem Green, 38, and his girlfriend Darcell Marshall, 22, both of Springfield Boulevard, face a slew of charges for what they allegedly did to a 19-year-old runaway from Rockland County and a 20-year-old from the city. If convicted, Green faces up to 25 years to life in prison and Marshall faces up to 25 years.
The DA alleges that:
Green picked up the two women by posing as a “John” and then kept them imprisoned inside a foreclosed house on Springfield Boulevard that he and Marshall unlawfully occupied between October and December 2012.
During that time he took photographs of both victims and posted them on the adult website backpage.com to advertise their services as prostitutes. They also worked the streets. The victims had to give all the money they earned from performing sex acts to Green and Marshall.
Green occasionally beat the women. On Nov. 30 he punched the 20-year-old more than 20 times, breaking her tooth. Then he made her perform oral sex on him. Afterwards, she called 911. The DA said responding officers recovered guns, ammunition and drugs at the house.
Green has been indicted on charges of first- and second-degree kidnapping, first-degree rape, first-degree criminal sexual act, sex trafficking, second- and third-degree promoting prostitution, second-, third- and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, first- and second degree unlawful imprisonment, second- and third-degree assault, third-degree burglary, first-degree criminal trespass, trespass and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Marshall has been indicted on charges of sex trafficking, second- and third-degree promoting prostitution, second-, third- and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, criminal trespass and unlawful possession of marijuana.
