Two Board of Elections workers were written up for incorrectly setting up the lever voting machines that will be used in Tuesday's primary in Queens.

BOE spokeswoman Valerie Vazquez confirmed that the two workers were tasked with setting up the machines in the Queens warehouse and during testing of the machines, the incorrect setup was detected.

"The problem was immediately rectified," she said.

Vazquez said the two workers, one of whom has been a permanent employee at the BOE since 1997, were written up for the incident.
