On my own point of view, I am not against of the soda banning because lawmakers created this for our favor. We can't deny the fact that many studies have been conducted that diet sodas boost stroke risk. Diet and regular sodas have both been linked to obesity, kidney damage, and certain cancers. To add more, regular soft drinks have been linked to elevated blood pressure. I guess, soda banning doesn't deprived our individual right to choose, but rather it protect us from the danger of artificial sweetened beverages in the market.
