Organizers of the Sunnyside Family Fun Bike Ride and the Transportation Alternative Queens Volunteer Committee are co-hosting a litter cleanup of the Skillman/43rd Avenue bike lanes, as well as sidewalks and tree pits, on Saturday, Feb. 2. The focus is on industrial areas from 41st Street toward Honeywell Street and Queens Boulevard, including the Queens Boulevard Bridge. Supplies were donated by the Jackson Heights Beautification Group.

Participants will meet up in Lou Lodati Playground, at 41-15 Skillman Ave., near the Sunnyside Greenmarket at 41st Street, at 10 a.m. and the event will run until 2 p.m.
