“We have to be vigilant ... It is our country!”

Those were the parting words from Jesse Ventura at the Fresh Meadows Barnes & Noble on Oct. 6, words that summed up the afternoon for his audience well.

More than 150 Queens residents were there to see and hear Ventura (on the eve of “Sunday TV Football,” as he pointed out) as he signed copies of his new book — and join him in re-thinking history. They were tired of the Beltway crapola they’ve been required to listen to and read from politicians and press alike.

One of the essential reasons for Ventura writing the book, “They Killed Our President: 63 Reasons to Believe There Was a Conspiracy to Assassinate JFK,” was to right the injustice laid on Lee Harvey Oswald’s family for the shooting of John F. Kennedy 50 years ago next month.

Ventura clearly went over details about the properties of the bullet that was used in the assassination to make his case. He was not pointing a trigger at the assassin, but he knew it was not Oswald. There were many other details he disclosed. And he spoke of his own meeting with Fidel Castro and the sincere, strong handshake from the Cuban leader that he would never forget. Castro told Ventura he was a “hero” for taking his strong stand against the Warren Commission’s findings.

The crowd wanted to know what the former pro wrestler and Minnesota governor’s next political move might be. Running for president was brought up, more than once, and Ventura did not rule out that possibility. But now, he said, he was going on Sirius Radio with a commentary program — a place where he knew he would be given the complete freedom to express his views. He noted that the Beltway media had made an effort to marginalize his viewpoints.

The crowd that came to listen to Ventura and buy his book was very enthusiastic about the man, his mind and his beliefs.

It was almost like a return to the strong stands, and rethinking, that once took over our country, in the ’60s.

JESSE VENTURA IS A PATHOLOGICAL LIAR!
Jesse Ventura defrauded the people of Minnesota to become Governor by lying about being a Navy SEAL He was not a SEAL, never in Vietnam, never in combat. He does not have the Combat Action Ribbon. He was a storekeeper on a ship that passed the Vietnam coastline so he was entitled to the Vietnam Service Medal.
Ventura BRIBED a guy running against him in the 1998 primary election and got caught. When complaints were filed against him and Dean Barkley for bribery they BRIBED many public officials who fixed the investigation. They bribed former Ramsey County Attorney Susan Gaertner, former U.S. Attorney Thomas Heffelfinger, former prosecutor and legislator Charlie Weaver, and many others. This is all documented in my book, "ALWAYS CHEAT" The Philosophy of Jesse Ventura. The release of my book in the spring of 2002 forced Ventura to cancel his plans to run for a second term as Governor.
