The Police Department is asking the public’s help in locating two suspects wanted in robberies that occurred within the confines of the 107th and 109th precincts.

On Nov. 23, two men approached a 22-year-old man on 58th Road near 138th Street in Flushing, placed him in a choke hold, displayed a gun and stole a Samsung Galaxy cell phone and wallet. The victim was not hurt.

On the same day, a short time later, it is believed the same men saw a man and a woman leave their car on 84th Drive near 148th Street in Briarwood. A gun was displayed and the suspects took the victims’ iPhone, purse and wallet. No one was injured.

The suspects are described as between 5 feet 7 inches tall and between the ages of 18 to 20 with thin builds.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 577-TIPS (8477).The public can also submit tips by logging onto nypdcrimestoppers.com, or by texting 274637 (CRIMES), then entering TIP577. All tips are strictly confidential.
