Robbery spree in Flushing

Police are on the lookout for a man who has gone on a Flushing robbery spree from last November through this July.

On Nov. 11, 2013, he entered the Motors Driving School at 136-86 Roosevelt Ave. and removed a bag from a closet containing cash and credit cards. A month later, at the Sarang Bang restaurant at 149-44 41 Ave. he took a bag containing $18,000 and credit cards.

The perpetrator committed four grand larcenies in January: at a cabinet store at 134-38 33 Ave., removing a wallet with credit cards; a beauty salon at 34-26 Union St., where he took a wallet with $3,000; a store at 131-29 Sanford Ave., where he stole a purse and two iPhones; and an iPhone from a telecommunications store at 136-84 Roosevelt Ave.

Earlier this month, he entered the Lyauaidai Cleaning Co., at 33-70 Prince St., taking $13,000 from a cash drawer.

The suspect is described as Hispanic, 30 years old, weighing 175 pounds, 5 feet, 8 inches tall and bald. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 577-TIPS (8477)or log onto nypdcrimestoppers.com.
