The Police Department is looking for a man wanted for an attempted rape last Friday at an undisclosed location within the confines of the 107th Precinct.
At about 4:45 a.m. the victim, a 23-year-old Asian woman, was followed from a bus stop by the suspect, who grabbed her by the throat and pushed her to the ground.
He punched the woman in the head and tried to rape her but fled when a witness heard the victim’s screams. The witness yelled that he had called 911.
The suspect is described as a white male with a light complexion, between 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing between 150 and 170 pounds.
