This past week on season 11 of Fox’s “American Idol” was the last for Flushing native Heejun Han, 22.
Han had found himself in the bottom three contestants for the second week in a row. He couldn’t be saved even by judge Jennifer Lopez, who was teetering on tears when Han was finally sent back home.
He packed his bags on March 29, but says he will be pursuing a sitcom career.
“Of course, I’m not going to be picky about anything,” said Han to Fox News. “I really want to make something out of this.”
The contestant is a graduate of Francis Lewis High School.
