A festive holiday glow was apparent at the seven historic sites open for tours Sunday in Flushing and Corona.

Sponsored by the Queens Historical Society, open houses were held at the Kingsland Homestead, the Voelker Orth Museum, the Lewis H. Latimer House, the Quaker Meeting House, Flushing Town Hall, the Bowne House and the Louis Armstrong House Museum.

Aside from viewing the buildings, visitors were treated to musical entertainment, lectures, special displays, crafts and more.

Welcome to the discussion.
