No need to take a box lunch to the US Open, since food choices abound there to please every palate.

For veteran tennis fans, there are plenty of new options including Hill Country BBQ and Fresca Mexicana in the Food Village.

At the East Gate Grill, diners can get their fill of beef, while nearby is a stand featuring Pat LaFrieda filet mignon sandwiches on baguettes.

The Mojito Restaurant this year has expanded outdoor dining and a new appetizer, goat cheese and spicy tomato fundido, a spread served with toasted bread.

The US Open runs now through Sept. 9 at Flushing Meadows Park.

Welcome to the discussion.
