Jukay Hsu, founder of the Coalition for Queens and an Army combat veteran in Iraq, has been inducted into the state Senate Veterans Hall of Fame.
With him is Sen. Toby Stavisky, who presented him with a certificate.
An immigrant from Taiwan, Hsu was raised in Flushing and served as a captain of a rifle platoon in Iraq upon graduation from Harvard College.
After returning, he organized the Coalition for Queens, a nonprofit that is working to make the borough a hub for technology.
“Jukay is an exemplary public servant ... and I thank him for his military service and his continued civilian service,” Stavisky said.
