Female principals feted

In celebration of Women’s History Month, Assemblywoman Nily Rozic honored 23 women principals from private and public schools on Monday in her Fresh Meadows office. Councilman Mark Weprin attended.

“In today’s world where women are discriminated against in the workforce and are rarely represented in positions of power, it is important to recognize those that are blazing trails and enriching our community,” Rozic, fourth from left, said.
