The Bayside Village Business Improvement District will hold its second annual sidewalk sale and first weekend walk along Bell Boulevard from noon to 5 p.m. Sept. 27 to 29.

During the weekend walk, a portion of Bell Boulevard will be closed to traffic.

Many merchants will set up tables outside their establishments to offer promotional information, free samples or discounted merchandise. In addition, the Bayside BID will provide “go bags” with news about the shops in the area.

The pedestrian plaza will run from 39th to 41st avenues on Sunday with entertainment, food, giveaways and other activities planned for that day.

Activities will began with a Zumba demonstration, followed by a performance by the Mikey K. Project, hot hula by the Queens Dance Project, performances by Chicken Hut, the Robert Mann Dance School and Fortress. The master of ceremonies is DJ Jimmy James.

The sidewalk sale will cover the entire area of the Bayside Village BID from Northern Boulevard to 35th Avenue.
