A 21-year-old woman and her two children, girls ages 1 and 2, were stabbed to death Sunday in an apartment in Jamaica, and the NYPD is seeking the public's help in locating Miguel Mejia-Ramos, 28, whom police are calling a suspect in the case.
Deisy Garcia and her children, Daniela Mejia, 2, and Yaslin Mejia, 1, were found brutally slain at about 8 p.m., police said. All had been stabbed multiple times. They were found in a bedroom in their apartment at 90-20 Sutphin Blvd., between Jamaica Avenue and 90th Avenue, above a drug store in the busy downtown district.
EMS pronounced all three victims dead at the scene.
Police said Mejia-Ramos is known to drive a white 2001 Chevrolet commercial van with the license plate 22128MD, and a white 1995 Dodge Suburban with the plates GHS2798.
Queens District Attorney Richard Brown told the media the murder scene was as terrible as any he has seen in all his decades in law enforcement.
