Suspects wanted in gunpoint robberies

Two masked assailants hit six stores

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in the apprehension of two suspects wanted in connection with six commercial gunpoint robberies in the borough. In each instance the masked assailants entered the location, displayed firearms and remove property. There were no reported injuries.

The first target was the Gulf gas station at 131-07 Farmers Blvd. in Jamaica, which they hit on Nov. 29 at around 5:40 p.m., police said. They took cash and fled northbound on Farmers Boulevard on foot.

The suspects entered the Quick Script Pharmacy at 197-18 Hillside Ave. in Hollis on Dec. 5 at around 6 p.m. They displayed firearms and ordered two customers to lay on the floor and then they robbed them. Then also took cash from the register.

The next target was Norden Drugs Rajani Inc. at 79-01 Main St. in Flushing, where the thieves took cash and a cell phone on Dec. 10 at around 4:22 p.m.

On Dec. 15 at 2:45 p.m., the duo struck again. This time it was Total Wireless at 134-07 230 St. in Laurelton. They demanded that all the customers lay down on the floor.One suspect removed cash from a customer while the other took money from the store’s cash registers. Then they fled south on 230th Street.

In the fifth incident, which took place on Dec. 17 at 5:16 p.m., the suspects entered the Great Supermarket at 222-16 144 Ave. in Springfield Gardens, displayed firearms and removed cash from the store register. They fled on foot eastbound on 144th Avenue.

The suspects struck a sixth time on Dec. 19at 8:13 p.m. They entered the Gulf gas station at 133-44 150 St. in Jamaica, displayed a firearm and demanded cash.
