Suspects wanted in gunpoint robberies

Two masked assailants hit 13 stores

The NYPD is again asking for the public’s assistance in the apprehension of two suspects, who are wanted in connection with 13 commercial gunpoint robberies in the borough. In each instance the masked assailants entered the location, displayed one or more firearms and removed property. There were no reported injuries.

The NYPD announced it was looking for the men in mid-December after since robberies, but and since then they have struck seven more times.

The first target was the Gulf gas station at 131-07 Farmers Blvd. in Jamaica, which they hit on Nov. 29 at around 5:40 p.m., police said. They took cash and fled northbound on Farmers Boulevard on foot.

The suspects entered the Quick Script Pharmacy at 197-18 Hillside Ave. in Hollis on Dec. 5 at around 6 p.m. They displayed firearms and ordered two customers to lay on the floor and then the suspects robbed them. They also took cash from the register.

The next target was Norden Drugs Rajani Inc. at 79-01 Main St. in Flushing, where the thieves took cash and a cell phone on Dec. 10 at around 4:22 p.m.

On Dec. 15 at 2:45 p.m., the duo struck again. That time it was Total Wireless at 134-07 230 St. in Laurelton. They demanded that all the customers lay down on the floor.One suspect removed cash from a customer while the other took money from the store’s cash registers. Then they fled south on 230th Street.

In the fifth incident, which took place on Dec. 17 at 5:16 p.m., the suspects robbed the Great Big Supermarket at 222-16 144 Ave. in Springfield Gardens. They fled on foot eastbound on 144th Avenue.

The suspects struck a sixth time on Dec. 19at 8:13 p.m., robbing the Gulf gas station at 133-44 150 St. in Jamaica.

On Christmas Eve at around 6:30 p.m. the suspects robbed a Deal 99-Cent store at 145-36 Rockaway Blvd. in Jamaica. They displayed a firearm and demanded cash. The victim complied, and the suspects fled.

The duo hit a Gas Sale store on Dec. 31 at 6:40 p.m. at 154-66 71 Ave. in Flushing. Later the same day at 8:06 p.m. the suspects hit a bodega at 70-11 45 Ave. in Woodside. On Jan. 7, they robbed a T-Mobile store at 205-20 Jamaica Ave. in Hollis.

On Jan. 15 at 6:30 p.m. the suspects again robbed the Great Big Supermarket at 222-16 144 Ave. in Springfield Gardens.The NYPD is also trying to find an individual wanted for questioning in about the use of a credit card stolen during the crime.

On Jan. 18 at 7:05, the duo hit the Boost Mobile store at 205-02 Hillside Ave. in Hollis. Later the same day at 8:35 p.m they again robbed the Deal 99-Cent store at 145-36 Rockaway Blvd. in Jamaica.
