City Councilman Leroy Comrie (D-St. Albans) and Affinity Health Plan will host their 12th annual Easter egg hunt from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday in St. Albans Park on Merrick Boulevard.

The day will feature amusement rides, free musical performances, games and pony rides. The New York Knicks Groove Truck will be on hand to give away prizes for children.

Radio personality Bob Lee of WBLS-FM will host the festivities. The Big Apple Youth Cheer Team will perform, as will child stars Breje and Troi Zee.

The Easter bunny and Rex, the Affinity mascot, also will make appearances.

Healthplex, a major dental program vendor, will be at the park handing out free toothbrushes to children and offering free child dental screenings.

All children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The park is located between Sayers Avenue and Linden Boulevard.

Further information on the event may be obtained by calling 1 (888) 543-9070, or by visiting the company’s website, affinityplan.org/EggHunt online.

Welcome to the discussion.
