Shooting in the 105th

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the suspect in a nonfatal shooting at about 3:50 a.m. on March 2 in front of 234-36 Merrick Blvd. in Jamaica.

Police in the 105th Precinct said a man approached the victim and shot him in the buttocks and fled on foot. The victim was taken to Mercy Hospital in Rockville Centre, LI and is in stable condition.

The shooter is described as a male Hispanic, 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds with a light complexion. He was wearing a beige jacket and brown pants.
