Robbery, assault suspect

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted for three robberies and an attempted robbery in the Cambria Heights area in the 103rd and 105th precincts.

The first robbery took place at 1:40 p.m. on March 9 at a deli at 114-01 Colfax St. The second was at 7:45 p.m. at a deli at 205-19 Hollis Ave., while the third was at 1:55 a.m. on March 13 at a third deli at 206-02 Hollis Ave.

In each case the man struck an employee in the face with a shotgun, took money and fled the scene. An attempted robbery took place at 5:45 a.m. on April 2 at a dry cleaning store at 110-50 Springfield Blvd., when an employee was struck in the face, but no money was taken.

All four victims were treated at area hospitals and released.

The suspect is described as a black male.
