The NYPD is seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating a suspect in the attempted rape of a 10-year-old girl in Jamaica on Sept. 16 at the corner of 168th Street and Douglas Avenue.

Police at the 103rd Precinct said the man approached the victim at about 7:15 a.m. and threw her to the ground. He fled as a vehicle drove past the location.

Anyone with information on his identity or whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 577-TIPS (8477). The public also can submit tips by logging onto nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting 274637 (CRIMES), then entering TIP577. All tips are strictly confidential.
