Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects in connection with a stabbing at the Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer subway station in Jamaica around 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 4.
The victims — ages 17, 18 and 19 — got into a verbal argument with two men that turned physical and resulted in the 17-year-old being stabbed in the leg and the other two being knifed in the stomach, police said. The names of the victims were not released.
The teens were taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in stable condition. The two suspects fled in an unknown direction. Police have images of the two men who were captured on surveillance footage.
The fight may have had something to do with an iPhone, the Daily News reported, though it is unclear which of the people involved was the owner.
Anyone with information about the stabbings is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit tips by logging onto nypdcrimestoppers.com, or by texting 274637 (CRIMES), then entering TIP577. All tips are strictly confidential.
