This whole story on Edgar Owens is an extraction. He was a very loving person; he was the type of person that would give you the shirt off his back if needed. He was a father to two kids, granddaughter, and was a brother to nine other siblings. He wasn’t the type to start any chaos. The whole persona that is being described of him on the news is false. He was a great man and will be missed. Those who never knew him shouldn’t judge. It’s easy to commend the officer for shooting him but that was not necessary. What’s a knife to a gun? The officer didn’t have to shoot and kill. How is this story even believable to people? If my uncle was supposable a lunatic and was known for confronting cops, why would you let him get that close to you? In my eyes the cop should be ashamed of himself for killing a sick man. My uncle was mentally ill and on medication, that was known by everyone including the police. Before anyone is so quick to judge they should know the whole story and not believe all the lies. Just imagine if this was one of your loved ones. How would you feel? Outraged and sad because that’s how my family feels. The police officer should have been trained better rather than to just grab his gun and shooting, but I pray for him. With God on my families side Justice will be severed.
