A 24-year-old Jamaica man was shot and killed Monday evening in front of the house where the city’s first homicide of 2014 took place in January.

The NYPD said Darrell Lynch of 156th Street was shot outside a house at 150-25 113 Ave. just before 7:30 p.m.

The house was the same one in which the NYPD found Julio Mora, 22, dead of a gunshot wound to his chest shortly after 1 a.m. on New Year’s Day.

Police from the 113th Precinct were summoned Monday night by a 911 call.

They found Lynch suffering from a leg wound. He was brought by city EMS personnel to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. He was pronounced dead on arrival.

No suspects had been arrested as of Tuesday evening, though the Gothamist reported that Lynch was shot in front of his mother, allegedly by a man with whom he had had a dispute over a parking space earlier in the day.

Both the victim and his mother fired shots at the killer as he fled, according to the Gothamist.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 577-TIPS (8477), or to submit tips by logging onto nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting 274637 (CRIMES), then entering TIP577. All tips are strictly confidential.

Back on Jan. 1, officers from the 113th Precinct responding to the report of a stabbing inside of the house at 150-25 113 Ave. found Mora of Richmond Hill. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Sheldon Smith of Jamaica was arrested for the shooting.

Mora was the first of three men from Southeast Queens who were shot to death in the first three days of 2014.

Malik Bhola, 17, of Springfield Gardens, was shot and killed on Bushwick Avenue in Brooklyn just over two hours later.

Rap singer Jamal Green, 42, who performed under the name Mazaradi Fox and was a former associate of rap star 50 Cent, was shot while sitting with three others in an SUV near his 134th Avenue home. The three others were wounded.
