Kiwanis clubs in Southeast Queens and their comrades elsewhere did some spring cleaning in neighborhood parks on April 6 in support of the Kiwanis One Day program.

At top, members of the St. Albans Kiwanis Club broke out the rakes and brooms in St. Albans Memorial Park at Merrick Boulevard and Sayres Avenue.

Above, Members of the Kiwanis clubs of Jamaica, St. Albans and Flushing joined members of the Francis Lewis High School Key Club, who also joined in the effort.

The Cambria Heights chapter spent the day working with community organizations on abandoned and distressed properties.

Members of the Rosedale-Laurelton Kiwanis Club tended Springfield Park at Springfield Boulevard and 146th Avenue with Key Club students from Queens High School for the Sciences in Jamaica.

Welcome to the discussion.
