Fatal shooting in Jamaica

NYPD detectives, top, examine a Chevrolet Tahoe in which one man was killed and another wounded early Saturday morning in a shooting on 163rd Street in Jamaica.

Police at the 103rd Precinct said officers responded to a call to outside 89-32 163 St. at 5:11 a.m. They found one victim, a 33-year-old Hispanic man, suffering a gunshot wound to his chest and another man, 32, with a wound to his ankle. Both men were taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where the first victim was pronounced dead.
