A Queens Village man is dead and a Cambria Heights woman has been charged with his murder after allegedly hitting him with a car on Monday night.
Police in the 105th Precinct said Kaman Drummond, 26, of Hollis Avenue, was struck on 208th Street near 109th Avenue just before midnight.
He was brought to Queens Hospital Center in Jamaica suffering from severe trauma to his head and body.
He was pronounced dead on arrival.
The initial police investigation centered on Dunasha Payne, 21, of 221st Street in Cambria Heights, who was determined to have been the driver of a 1994 Honda Accord and “did strike the victim with her vehicle.”
The NYPD said Payne was taken into custody and that its subsequent investigation led to her being arrested.
Police said she has been charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
No information on either Payne’s arraignment or her bail conditions was immediately available from law enforcement authorities.
