There was plenty of family fun at the 11th Annual Harvest Festival held outside the Jamaica Farmers Market on Saturday. There was face painting, scarecrow making, pumpkin decorating and even a taste of the Old West courtesy of the Federation of Black Cowboys, who brought their horses and rope tricks to entertain the crowd.

There was also a firemen’s chili cook-off with a free tasting, line dancing with Savannah Sky, a country-western band, a performance   by Professor Sparkle and his Magic Rabbits, and Zumba and yoga classes.

The free event, held on a picturesque afternoon, was sponsored by the Greater Jamaica Development Corp.
