The NYPD is seeking the public’s help in locating two suspects in an attempted robbery that took place at the Parsons Boulevard and Archer Street subway station in Jamaica on May 24.

Police in the 103rd Precinct said the incident took place when a woman attempted to board an elevator at about 12:40 a.m.

She was approached by two black teenage women who allegedly attempted to take her cell phone.

Following a struggle the suspects fled without taking any property.

The victim did not require medical attention. Her alleged attackers are described as being between 16 and 18 years old.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 577-TIPS (8477). The public also can submit tips by logging onto nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting 274637 (CRIMES), then entering TIP577. All tips are strictly confidential.
