Face painting and arts and crafts were among the myriad activities for children at Baisley Pond Park in South Jamaica on Tuesday as the 113th Precinct and its Community Council celebrated the 30th annual National Night Out Against Crime.

The yearly event brings together members of the community and officers from the precinct in a cordial, family-friendly atmosphere.

The hot dogs and hamburgers fresh off the grill were augmented with all the fixings. Also on hand were entertainment for all ages and tips from law enforcement for people to safeguard their children, their homes and cars and themselves from crime.
