Three children were among four people hurt in a Thanksgiving Day fire in an apartment building in Rego Park.
An FDNY spokesman said the fire was reported at 2:34 p.m. in a second-floor apartment at 63-93 Woodhaven Blvd., a seven-story brick building.
The fire was brought under control in approximately 30 minutes. An FDNY spokesman said in an email that the three children were taken to Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan while the one adult was taken to North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, LI.
Published reports said the four were treated for smoke inhalation.
The victims’ names were not released. The FDNY said the cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s office.
