The Glendale Chamber of Commerce held its annual Meet the Easter Bunny event on April 6 at Zum Stammtisch.

Almost 200 children attended the event with their families. It was co-sponsored by chamber members including Century 21 Amiable; Candy Twisted Balloons; Yogurt and Company; The Crumby Baker; Zum Stammtisch; A Sprinkle of Fun; The Shriners; the Queens Chronicle and The Glendale Civilian Observation Patrol. Neighborhood teen Erica Arundel, top, in the bunny costume, and Cook’s Crafts, who donated items or services, helped make the event such a huge success.

Chamber member Century 21 Amiable also announced recently the winner of its “I Feel Lucky” Facebook contest.

Glendale resident Doreen Pratt, above right, won a basket full of gift certificates and other valuable merchandise that was donated by local Glendale merchants with an estimated total value of over $450 on March 31st. She is shown with her daughter Melissa, left, and her friend Elizabeth Ramirez.
