A 26-year-old deli employee was shot and killed Thursday evening at a store at 675 Onderdonk Ave. in Ridgewood.
Published reports say that Ishak Ghali was shot in the head while working at All Friends Grocery and deli at about 6 p.m. Police are believed to be investigating robbery among the possible motives.
His Facebook page says he was a Ridgewood resident and the manager of the store.
His cousin, Agype Messi, commenting on his own Facebook page, mourned Ghali.
“RIP Best cousin ever ... will never forget u ...” he wrote.
A spokesman for the NYPD declined to comment or issue any information related to Ghali’s death on Friday.
