Job seekers and employers are made for one another; bring them together in times of economic distress, and you have the UJA Federation of New York’s business summit and job fair, held on May 26th as one of its many Connect to Care employment services.

Over 400 clients jumped at the opportunity to network at the Central Queens YM and YWCA with professionals from more than 30 staffing companies, like Macy’s and FedEx. Clients sought job openings and counseling with career consultants, rabbis and mental-health professionals.

FEGS Health and Human Services and various Queens synagogues were among those groups to contribute to the fair’s planning.

Welcome to the discussion.
