The NYPD’s Major Case Squad is asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect in a bank robbery that took place in Middle Village on Sept. 28.
The man entered the Cross County Savings Bank at 80-10 Eliot Ave. in the 104th Precinct at approximately 2:50 p.m. He then handed a teller a note demanding money.
The teller complied, and the man fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police sad there were no reported injuries in the robbery, and that their investigation is continuing.
The suspect is described as a white male, between 35 and 40 years old, and standing 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall. He weighs an estimated 150 to 160 pounds and has a pale complexion and a thin build.
The NYPD is asking that anyone with information on the robbery contact them by calling Crime Stoppers at 1 (800)-577-TIPS (8477).
