They answered their country’s call, but would never come home, never be given a proper funeral where family and friends could grieve.
But on April 15, Bella Italia Mia, All Faiths Cemetery, Christ the King High School and American Legion Post 1424 dedicated a monument at the cemetery to remember American GIs forever listed as missing, and those killed whose bodies were never recovered.
