The Metropolitan Transportation Authority has announced that all city subways will operate on their regular weekday schedules throughout Passover, which begins on Monday, March 25, and on Good Friday, March 29.
The regular Sunday schedule will be in effect on Easter Sunday, March 31.
NYC Transit bus schedules will be affected only on Staten Island on Good Friday.
The Long Island Rail Road will operate on its regular weekday schedule on both March 25 and March 29, but with an additional eight early afternoon trains leaving from Penn Station between 2:08 p.m. and 3:48 p.m. for customers leaving work early in observance of either Passover or Good Friday.
All temporary roadwork and roadway closures scheduled at MTA tunnels and bridges will be lifted by 1 p.m. on Good Friday in anticipation of an early rush hour period.
