A scheduled helicopter landing did not take place due to poor weather, but students at Forest Hills High School got to spend a few hours with members of the Marine Corps last Friday as part of the service’s Fleet Week celebration. Marines chatted with students, posed for pictures and gave out T-shirts, water bottles and other promotional items as students and faculty got a small glimpse of the background and training regimen required to join the Few and the Proud.
