Police Commissioner William Bratton led the NYPD’s annual pre-Passover briefing Monday at 1 Police Plaza.
Bratton, center, talks to Jewish leaders after the session. He told the group about the heightened security for New York City during the upcoming week-long religious holiday that begins on April 14.
“We believe that by working with you, the communities we serve, we can continue to make this city safe from crime and terrorism for all residents,” the commissioner said.
The NYPD will continue to deploy additional resources to synagogues, Jewish neighborhoods and other potentially sensitive locations during Passover.
