BMD Marketing Company in collaboration with the Queens Chronicle invites you to attend a free Queens Senior Health Expo and Conference on Tuesday, March 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Adria Hotel and Conference Center, 220-33 Northern Blvd. in Bayside. The exhibit hall is open to all senior citizens.

First-rate companies will provide knowledge of healthcare and quality of life matters for senior citizens, as well as their adult children, family members and caregivers. Connections made here can help seniors on their path to optimal wellness.

Seniors will find workshops, exhibitor booths, giveaways, product demonstrations, information and entertainment. Representatives from an array of businesses are available to speak with.

Many new sponsors are participating this year including — Residential Reverse, a pioneer with more than 15 years of reverse mortgage experience; NYC Medicaid Pro, affordably assists seniors and facilities process Medicaid applications; and Metropolitan Jewish Health Services, providing a full spectrum of healthcare services.

Additional community resources can also be found at the health expo.

Other features of the Senior Health Expo also include:

• Free gift bags given to the first 300 seniors who attend;

• Free bus transportation from local senior centers;

• Nadir Wright, president of Bright Days Home Care and radio host of Senior Matters, presenting a “Care for the Caregiver” workshop.

• A workshop with Adapting Spaces, a team of occupational therapists who integrate architecture/interior space with healthcare and space utilization.

• Free health screenings.

• Representatives from the Epic Prescription Program;

• Independent insurance agent, Robert Lubow, answering Medicare questions and free consultations regarding plan options;

• Healthcare partners presenting a “Heart Healthy” workshop.

If you would like to attend with your senior center and need free transportation, call (718) 793-5684.

All companies are welcome to participate. Additional information can be found on the web at seniorhealthexpos.com.
