Are you feeling behind the times with today’s computer technology? Do you see everyone using their iPads, iPods, smartphones and e-Readers and ask yourself what are these products all about, and can I ever learn to use them? Are you thinking about buying one but wonder if it is worth the investment?

The Middle Village Adult Center may have the answers. It is hosting a free, interactive seminar on smartphone and tablet computer technology on Tuesday, March 4 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., which will give a general overview of Apple and Android products, as well as e-Readers.

The specific products to be discussed are the iPad, iPod, iPhone, Samsung Galaxy tablet, Samsung Galaxy phone, Kindle, and Nook. The seminar will be hands-on and everyone is encouraged to ask questions and to bring any devices owned to the event.

The seminar will be given by MVAC’s computer teacher, Charna Barak. Sign up in advance to reserve your seat. Call the Middle Village Adult Center and speak with Hindy or Mimi at (718) 894-3441.

The Middle Village Adult Center is located at 69-10 75 St.

Welcome to the discussion.
