Ridgewood Savings Bank recently presented awards to the local winners of the “Lights, Camera, Save!” video contest for teens ages 13-18 that is designed to inspire their peers to become lifetime savers.

This year, the winning school was The High School for Arts & Business located at 105-25 Horace Harding Expy. in Corona.

The school received a grant for $1,000 at a ceremony held at the Ridgewood Savings Bank Main Office at 71-02 Forest Ave. in Ridgewood.

“We are very grateful to the Ridgewood Savings Bank for providing this grant to our school and for the opportunity to participate in this excellent program,” Ana Zambrano-Burakov, the principal of the school said. “This contest gave our students a platform for thinking about important financial matters in an engaging and creative fashion — a very valuable learning experience.”

The awards were presented by Senior Vice President of retail banking Walter Reese and the Vice President of Ridgewood Savings Bank LouAnn Mannino.
