A Flushing construction worker was the killed Tuesday morning when he was crushed by a fork lift while on a work site in Maspeth.

According to police, a fork lift at the construction site at 58-58 56 Drive where Min Baz Sik, 55, was working stopped functioning.

A second fork lift, brought to the construction site to remove the malfunctioning machine, accidentally tipped over and fell onto Sik’s chest, crushing him.

The 104th Precinct responded to a 911 call from the site at approximately 10:30 a.m.

When emergency personnel arrived at the construction site, they discovered Sik was unconscious, unresponsive and suffering from severe trauma to his body.

He was transported by EMS to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The cause of death has yet to be determined and an investigation into the accident is ongoing.

No charges have been filed.
