Deputy Borough President Barry Grodenchik, right, visited Community Board 5 at last week’s public meeting to award long-serving board members for their years of service.
“Community Boards are the backbones of our communities and our neighborhoods,” Grodenchik said as he passed out certificates.
Those awarded include Lee Rottenberg for 10 years of service, Eileen Moloney for 15 years, Zina Sisto and Ann Griffon for 20 years.
Fred Haller, center, received recognition for 25 years on CB 5, more than any other board member. He and Grodenchik are joined here by board chairman Vincent Acuri Jr.
